Google API Key

Some Google services as Google Maps require a personal API Key to be used. An API Key can be created for free and needs only a few minutes of your time.

The only requirement is a Google account (you can use your GMail account), then open the official page and click on the "Get a key" button.

A window will open and you can choose one of your projects, if you have one, or create one on the fly. Click on "Enable API" and you will receive your API KEY, a combination of numbers, letters and symbols.
